InvalidDreamException They tried to reconstruct black metal with familiar but strange elements. I think that they succeeded in it and can go farther.

If you are searching for an ambitious, unique, and good black metal album, this is worth a listen.
Favorite track: Black Sand.

A Cow Calves 02:40

Black Sand 06:27
One's life a desert Forlorn by nature, austere emptiness It´s on you to wander that sphere Condemned, from start to end On you, to fill your bag with seeds Your decision to plant them, where and why- you choose Rainmaker, fertilize the soil embedded in sand Soul flesh weak Soul flesh weak And I still wonder, wonder why There's only black sand that comes along with you Whither shall I flee? One Day the sun will melt the black sand To be reflected by it's mirrored surface What is your sun, your light in these dark days? Running from yourself, not to be stuck in quick sands You're its creator The more you move, the deeper you bog down All your strength So weak Self defeating So weak Soul flesh weak Soul flesh so weak While tracking your steps I found a haven, build it my own In places, I'd have never climbed alone I tracked your steps I found a haven ,build it my own In places, I'd have never found alone Emerging From soul flesh weak Emerging from soul flesh weak I can throw the rope But it´s on you to pull Till then I observe you dying- joyful Till then I observe you dying Joyful grief

Greek, call me the one who bears plenty! No tracing the footsteps, no leaving the trail. What did I learn back in Buddhism bootcamp? A will yet unbroken is already failed. A will unbroken, A will already failed. My want is none, My want is none. Forced past all required abstraction, Once close cognitions becoming estranged. Heads wagging pigtails, Blood pacts with dead horses Turn futile when faced with barrages of change. A will unbroken, A will already failed. My want is none, My want is none.

Beacon 05:51
From where I am standing To where I commenced, Familiar depressions I once walked Form a hole in the sand. The world at a glance from the lightheaded Beacon that I have become. A monument to stationarity, For I shall crawl to none. None! None! Raging waters are shifted by forces, Yet I wade as I stand. Structures rise, morph and crumble From a weak maker's hand. The world at a glance from the lightheaded Beacon that I have become. A monument to stationarity, For I shall crawl to none. None! None!

Midwife 05:17
Life drowns its palms in fertile dirt And grubs man out to light. Pulls, tears, leaves marks and scars on him To make man terrified. As if to say: "There is nowhere Whereto you can revert." As if to say: "There is nowhere Whereto you can revert." Spine crooked and twisted, brittle bones, Displaced jaw, scattered gaze Attest his midwife's cruelty, And yet you hear man say: "Life shall form and deform me! Hate the body, for I see: If I remained in innocence, I could not be complete." And yet you hear man say: "Life shall form and deform me! Hate the body, for I see."

I spent the night in heat And fever fed to me a dream That every time returned When it seemed to just have been. First I grew sad and hateful Over all the dreams i'd miss, That night could choose to grant me Yet anew it gave me this. I spent the night in heat And fever fed to me a dream That every time returned When it seemed to just have been. First I grew sad and hateful Over all the dreams i'd miss, That night could choose to grant me Yet anew it gave me this. I hoped the heat would vanish, But the dream returned each night. And hope that once was burning Had become a flickering light. And all the dreams I once had hoped To dream in place of mine, I learned to hate instead, For not to them I am confined.

Outside the many distinct eye To have beheld some truth, Bread for the blind, crumbs fall through cracks, Light without gravity of will that crooks. Black-spotted hands spawn Physicals of layered land, Put everything into its right place, And dignity back into man. Into man! True hydrocephalics map Remnants of uncharted land. Shrines come to form a pyramid, And likenesses of ones to represent The archetype And all to come from them Light comes to those prepared to suffer And return dignity to man. Into man!

True love, true pain, and true adversity Foster a bond between us And entangle our hands. Let life not catch up to the love we have, Hold me and help me pull the remnants that I can't. That I can't. That I can't. That I can't! On my own devices! And by my own means! In search of something better! With two hands entangled In the face of a storm, Together we shall Prosper & succeed! Prosper & succeed! Let life not catch up to the little that we had, And leave me not, nor lead me, Nor stand idly by. Hold me like I hold you, and long as I have will to walk Let us nor leave, nor lead, but walk together by each other's side. Other's side! Other's side! Other's side! On my own devices! And by my own means! In search of something better! With two hands entangled In the face of a storm, Together we shall Prosper & succeed! Prosper & succeed! On my own devices! And by my own means! In search of something better! With two hands entangled In the face of a storm, Together we shall Prosper & succeed!
